What if living well isn’t about trying harder—but about first understanding who you are, whose you are, and what Jesus has already done for you?
For me, it begins with Jesus Christ.
The gospel is the foundation of everything I believe about living well. We were created by God, deeply loved by Him, and made for relationship with Him. Yet sin separates us from God, and no amount of striving, good works, healthy choices, or self-improvement can restore that relationship. That is why we need Jesus.
Jesus Christ came to do for us what we could never do for ourselves. He lived the perfect life we could not live, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again so that through faith in Him, we can be forgiven, made new, and brought back into relationship with God.
Our identity does not begin with our health, our appearance, our accomplishments, or our ability to get everything right. It begins with Christ.
When we place our trust in Jesus, we no longer have to strive to prove our worth. In Him, we are loved, forgiven, accepted, and free. We are His.
That truth changes how we live—including how we care for ourselves.
For years, I have been passionate about health and wellness, but I’ve come to understand that true wellness goes much deeper than what we eat, how we exercise, or what number appears on a scale. It begins with the heart and flows from our relationship with God.
I believe God cares about the whole of us—our body, mind, relationships, purpose, and spiritual life. Our bodies are gifts from Him, and caring for them can be an act of gratitude and stewardship rather than a pursuit of worth or perfection.
Through LiveWell Christian health coaching , I come alongside women who want to become healthier while also growing deeper in their relationship with Jesus.
Together, we explore questions like:
- What is really motivating my choices?
- Am I living from the freedom I have in Christ—or from fear, guilt, comparison, or striving?
- Am I caring for my body because I understand its value as something God created—or because I’m trying to become worthy of love?
- What would change if I truly believed that my worth is found in Christ?
- How might God want to use my health, my story, and my gifts to love and serve others?
My hope is that your health journey becomes about so much more than becoming a “better” version of yourself.
It is about becoming more fully who God created you to be—and discovering that your deepest need is not found in self-improvement, but in Jesus.
Because the gospel reminds us that we don't have to earn God's love. Jesus has already made a way.
From that place of grace, we can learn to care for the body God has given us, renew our minds with His truth, walk in freedom, and use our lives to love and serve others.
Jesus is not simply an addition to a healthy life. He is the foundation.
When we abide in Him, everything else begins to find its proper place.
Know Jesus. Abide in His love. Live in His freedom. Care for what He has entrusted to you. Love and serve others.
That’s what it means to Live Well.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing” — John 15:5
